La Cueva de Castilla, located in front of the town hall, is probably the best Spanish restaurant in Brussels. Roberto, silver medalist in 2018, offers cuisine that combines flavours from the four corners of the Spanish peninsula as well as surprising dishes from the Maghreb countries.
All the dishes offered are made with quality and seasonal ingredients chosen. A must-try is the Jamon de Pata Negra Iberico matured for 30 months, or the excellent paellas and fideuas. For lovers of seafood and seafood, there is a large choice of dishes: octopus, small squid, prawns ... On the eastern side, try the excellent pastillas as a starter and one of the excellent revisited couscous.
On the cellar side, there is a fine selection of wines from diverse regions such as Rioja, Ribeira del Duero, Cariñena or oriental wines.
LACUEVADECASTILLA was the 2013 winner of Spanish cuisine from the Delta guide and has been included since 2006 in the Gault & Millau and 2008 in the Michelin guide. A restaurant to (re)discover absolutely!
